That is because a good tour is not a string of facts to be swapped word for word into another language — it is a piece of writing with rhythm, tone and storytelling, and carrying that across languages is rewriting, not substitution. So each language version of our tours is created by a native speaker who reworks the story to sound natural and engaging in their language, and is narrated by a native voice so the pronunciation and the feel are right.
This is slower and costlier than letting a machine do it, which is exactly why most apps do not bother — and exactly why ours sound the way they do. It also means we add languages to tours steadily, as we record them properly, rather than auto-generating a hundred half-baked versions overnight.
